Based on the specific needs of a business, a Business Growth Advisor will work to connect businesses to the right resources, people, training, and funding to help move that business forward.

Once you have learned what the network is all about, and how it can help you, the first step is to register your business at https://www.regionalbusinesspartners.co.nz/. You will need to have your NZBN and GST number handy. If you are not registered for GST, you can contact a Business Growth Advisor directly to start your journey.
Once registered, you will be matched with a local Business Growth Advisor, who will be in touch to set up a discovery session. The purpose of this is to get to know business owners and their businesses - to both identify their needs and uncover new opportunities.
From there, the Business Growth Advisor will come back to you with an action plan. This can include any mix of things – and will depend on what is most relevant to your business. It can range from simple things, such as an introduction to a useful new contact, through to helping owners into targeted management training, or even facilitating a new research and development (R&D) project.
Running a business is a journey of constant improvement. There is always something new to learn, a new challenge to overcome, or a fresh opportunity to find. Business owners are encouraged to register with the RBP or contact their local Business Growth Advisors.
