We are on the hunt for a Senior Advisor People and Capability who has a modern approach to employee experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your broad HR expertise to the People and Capability function at the Trust.

You will drive the development and implementation of progressive policies and organisational development initiatives that are aligned to our values, equip our business with highly motivated, talented team members, where every person receives recognition for their efforts, and have a rewarding career.

This is a busy role where the work is varied and no day will be the same, so it is critical that you thrive on challenges and have a proactive approach to resolving them. 

About you

You will need to be a credible HR practitioner who can build trusting relationships across all teams and who can deliver best practice advice and guidance on the full HR remit from end to end.

You are a passionate and experienced People & Capability professional with 10+ years’ experience at a business partnering or senior HR advisory level.

Your capability ranges from involvement in daily transactions such as recruitment activity and helping staff with their inquiries through to planning and leading organisational development initiatives. You will have significant experience with designing, implementing fit-for-purpose people initiatives, policies, and processes and have a sharp eye for standards and continuous improvement which you implement in a collaborative manner. 

You will value the cultural identity of Tairāwhiti, including an ability to understand or desire to learn te reo māori me ona tikanga.
