Around 9,000 passengers have come in on those 10 ships, with some of the more high end cruise ships only carrying 114 passengers when they dock.
Before four cruise ships had to cancel their visits, there was an estimated 18,000 passengers that Tairāwhiti could have ashore if all ships were able to dock successfully.
