A broad cross-section of the sector met on November 2 to collaborate on the opportunities and challenges that the food and beverage industry faces.
The workshop allowed full spectrum insights into how we might shape the future of food and provide a more resilient, diverse, equitable and circular industry.
Iwi, local government, and government agencies were also in attendance at the hui.
Participants were able to fill their kete, with Sir Peter Gluckman joining in the conversation, providing research and thought leadership on how to move from a volume model to one of value.
As the first Chief Science Advisor to the Prime Minister from 2009 - 2018, Sir Peter unloaded a wealth of knowledge to an engaged audience, shaping the conversation and thinking.
Sir Peter is regarded globally as one of the foremost thinkers on the practices and principles of science advice.
