Cruise tourism presents an opportunity for Tairāwhiti to boost its local economy and raise its profile as a global tourism destination.

Cruise ships can bring thousands of visitors to the region each year, who can spend money on goods and services, create jobs, and support local businesses. The Trust supports tours and logistics on the ground to ensure everything runs smoothly.
