Business support grants

Update: 15 March 2023

The Government announced a further $25 million in grants to support businesses in cyclone-affected regions around New Zealand.

If you have:

  • applied for a business support grant and are awaiting a response;
  • already received a business support grant; or
  • been declined a business support grant

Please do not apply again. This will create duplicates, slow the process and will not change the outcome of applications.

Once we receive confirmation of the amount allocated for Tairāwhiti, the independent panel will resume assessing applications. We are working to process payments as quickly as possible. If you applied and haven’t heard back, please be patient – we’ll be in touch soon.
