Trust Tairāwhiti has partnered with Sustainable Seas to host a workshop on developing a bluewater economy in Tairāwhiti. This workshop will explore what a blue economy could be for Tairāwhiti, why it matters, and how we can bring it about.
Tairāwhiti has the potential to develop a bluewater economy made up of marine activities that generate economic value and contribute positively to ecological, cultural and social well-being.
