Learn the foundations of running a successful business. Through a series of 4 workshops over 8 weeks, we’ll cover the following topics:
- Business Basics - Business structure, annual returns, registered office, bank accounts.
- The importance of good processes and workflows to deliver products or services to customers.
- Business Health Check Making sure you’re well protected - risk, health & safety, insurance.
- Tax Fundamentals - Understanding income tax, GST, what to claim, tax planning.
- Know Your Numbers - Bookkeeping basics, understanding accounting software, how to read financial statements, balance sheets and profit & loss statements. The difference between profit & cash
- Grow Your Business - Developing a business plan. Setting goals and measuring results.
