Jarred leads MPI’s Insights team to analyse the global and domestic forces shaping New Zealand’s food and fibre sector. His work takes a systems view, examining geopolitics, trade, market shifts, emerging technologies, and evolving business models - and what they mean for New Zealand’s economy.
The team also delivers in-depth studies on key sector issues, including strategic positioning, alternative proteins, and genetic technologies.
Jarred brings more than 20 years’ experience across the food and fibre sector, with senior roles in both the public and private sectors.
