Trust Tairāwhiti is coordinating a free workshop series for local businesses, focused on future-proofing operations in a changing environment.

The Adapting to Change workshop has been designed to support business owners, managers and teams with practical tools and strategies to respond to challenges, identify opportunities, and build resilience.

The workshops are Government-funded through a new support package delivered through the Regional Business Partner Network. Ian Parker of IP Business Consulting will lead the Gisborne workshops.

Over an interactive three-hour session, participants will be guided through business planning approaches that strengthen agility and help businesses prepare for uncertainty, growth, and change.

Topics covered include recognising and responding to change, managing risk, identifying new opportunities, and building resilience into day-to-day decision making.

The workshops are open to small business owners, entrepreneurs, managers and leadership teams across the region and are free to attend. Participants can choose from three dates, including one online session.

Workshop dates:

  • 3 June (in-person)
  • 9 June (in-person)
  • 16 June (online)
